Its time to present the city with an accurate taste of whats going on in the Calgary independent music scene. The Calgary Music compilation CD will be a sequel to our first CD. Calgary Acoustic featured Salsa, Rock, Folk, Jazz, and Pop. We pressed and distributed 1,000 copies to music fans around the city and they are now eagerly awaiting something NEW!
*The Plan*

We are looking for 10 recording artists who proudly represent why our city is unique and talented. Each artist will be featured in the booklet of the jewel case using a promo pic, a short bio, a website, and any additional contact info necessary. At *minimum*, 2,000 CDs will be pressed and distributed.
*What is meant by "distributed" ?*

We, AB Records will do anything we can to support local music. If this means stocking the CDs at retail independent CD shops, selling them to and within live music venues, advertising them on the web and radio or even going door to door, we will get it done.
*Whats the Catch?!*

What catch? No catch. Its free for you. In fact you can make money out of this! Not only a profit, but this will be huge promotional tool for your
band.
*Lets make a Deal.*

Here's the deal: after you donate a teaser song to this CD, AB Records will have the rights to sell copies of compilation disc. However, so will you! You'll have the option to purchase any amount of the Calgary Music CDs at cost and sell them to your fans, friends and family. Think about it, if 9 other bands are doing the same thing, that's 9 times the people who could possibly go to your shows or buy your music online etc.. If you look at the big picture, its a win-win situation for everybody.
